Cadence Teaches Clogging

Classes are available through the Cadence Cloggers.

WHEN - Classes are held on Sunday from 4:30 - 5:30 pm.

Beginner classes are 12 weeks in length, and consist of an established set of steps, each week building on the previous week.

Start dates are scheduled depending on demand.

WHERE - Dance Plus Studio located in the Parkwood Place Shopping Center, a small strip center at the Northwest corner of Thousand Oaks and Henderson Pass. The address is:

COST - The first lesson is free to try. If the student wants to continue, the cost for each set of classes is $50.00 for the 12 lessons.

FOOTWEAR: Clogging shoes will eventually be needed and can be ordered through your instructor but, for starters, just wear comfortable shoes (no sandals or flip-flops). You will be dancing on a wooden floor -- leather soles are best. Rubber soles like tennis shoes are acceptable HOWEVER, the more they "stick" to the floor, the more difficult it will be. (If you can "slide" a little bit, it will make things much easier.)

After you finish the class and demonstrate your proficiency, you can request to join the Cadence Cloggers performing team (if desired). There is no obligagtion to join the team but, we certainly hope you will consider it.
